BLF Easter in Berlin

Ok, so I'd hoped to give an 'as it happens' account of this weekend - but we've been a little bit busy having fun, and I'm sure you'd prefer I was focused on keeping my Man happy rather than tapping away at my iPad.

It's been a good couple of days so far, though.

The weekend began rather fortuitously on Thursday when we met Dave (LeatherPilgrim) at the airport before boarding our flight; he's a seasoned traveller to Berlin, so he was able to guide us through the complexities of buying U-Bahn tickets, traveling to Schoenberg (in the snow!) and finding our hotel: the ArtHotel Connection on the fuggerstrasse.

And a very nice hotel it's turned out to be too!

Friday started with some fantastic play in our room, followed by a (rather late) breakfast at the hotel. Sir then took His dog for a stride around the district - on the first of many shopping trips, if Amsterdam is anything to go by... Every store and street seemed to be scattered with sexy guys in full leather - and half of them not even part of the BLF event! Another great thing I can say about Berlin and the Germans: boy, can they grow good facial hair! I don't think I've ever seen so many sexy moustaches and beards in one place!

I also confess: I have fallen completely in lust for the German twin-zip 'schreiner hosen' style trousers and breeches... ;)

Friday evening was then a trip out to the Extreme rubber party at Scheune - heaving and steaming with so many sexy guys in gear that there was barely enough room for a pup to weave between them as he followed His Man to the bar. But, despite the crush, the pup's questing nose and friendly barks meant that we still managed to make friends - and cause a small scene...!

Saturday started as late as Friday (and for the same reason of excessively hungry doggy antics...). Then it was into our leathers and stout boots, and down to the Spree for the BLF organised 'Fetish boat' tour of the city. We were lucky to meet the feather-haired and very twinkly Max at the U-Bahn - he turned out to be the day's tour-guide, and so we didn't have to worry about getting lost on our way.

The boat itself was fun, but best of all was the chance to spend a very pleasant afternoon with Woody Woodruff (International Mister Leather 2012), his beautifully blue-eyed partner, and Paul (Mr Rubber UK) - chatting about pups and puppy psychology, and sympathising that Woody missed His own puppy, Itus: home-alone and also missing his Men.

We then managed to entertain an entire carriage of freshmen from Chicago on the way back to Schoenberg on the U-Bahn, doing our combined diplomatic duty in educating them about the Leather Titles and the ways of Leathermen - and either made David and Mark's day (and Facebook status') by having them 'pose with the leathermen' for their classmate's - or ruined their lives by creating photos that will haunt them forever...

A great day.

BLF | ECM Berlin

At last: time to ignore the unseasonably freezing British weather, and run away to Berlin with my Handler for the BLF | ECM Easter Leather Weekend!

I've been looking forward to this for weeks: six days of obediently trotting beside my Man whilst we explore a brand new city, famed for its 'Divine decadence' since Christopher Isherwood Changed Trains with his camera under his arm... I've even been trying to learn a little, relevant, German ('Ya: ich bin sein hunt...' :) )

But first: how to get all this perversity into one little 20kg suitcase....?!?

A day at the tattooist

Thursday was a wonderful impromptu visit to my Man - all the more fun for being completely unplanned and spur-of-the-moment. Sir managed to put such a big smile on my face that it lasted all through the next day of tattooing in Birmingham...

We're doing shorter, more regular, tattoo sessions this year - which is nice because it means we get to see Jo more often (it also costs us a little less - which is good as we head towards Easter in Berlin). This visit was spent filling in the cherry blossom in Geoff's armpit and the dog roses and bubbles over my ribs:

Irrepressible Love

OK, this is not my usual fetish-related posting (although my Man agrees that the bearded guy with the shy eyes in this video  is extremely cute), but this Song - and its video - has been haunting me for weeks. I have yet to see anything that speaks so simply and loudly for the equality - and beauty - of love...

(Irritatingly: despite having no more sexual content than two guys kissing, the video is age-restricted, so you might need to sign in to view it)

If I asked you now
Will you be my prince?
Will you lay down your armour
and be with me forever?
When you open me
All the power in me moves
How you want to see
All the depths of me real
When you open me
All the power in me moves
I feel real
How I love you...

I can't help but cry when I watch this. There is such a tenderness and depth in how they portray those achingly beautiful lyrics: the lingering touches and the grabbed hand, the tussling and laughter amid the chaos of a first bedsit, the long shared looks on the train - so much that expresses the frustrations and hunger of the first stages of love.

And most heart-breaking of all - that long held look that bleeds the pain of love and the hope that the other feels for you what you feel for them.

And then - at the end - that wonderful soaring affirmation and proclamation of love, shared by so many other couples in a rippling outward of Pride.

Beautiful - just beautiful.

(and now I shall retreat back to my basket, dewy-eyed and sniffling - and shall only return when I am feeling properly perverse and ready to share something sexy ;) )

A great night at #BLUFBristol 3

Saturday night was the 3rd BLUF@Bristol party, held at The Den in the centre of Bristol.

The Den is a nicely 'intimate' venue, so the event had to be ticketed to save us all from being sweltered in the crush; even so, more than eighty sexy guys managed to attend - some from as far afield as Scotland, Germany and Switzerland. It made for a nicely 'international' event, and showed how much we share: regardless of nationality or mother tongue, we all speak the language of Leather.

Sir and I arrived nice and early, and were amongst the first there: Sir in His beautiful padded-leather CHP uniform and His pup in its blue uniform shirt and breeches (We had really hoped to have me there in full rubber-pup mode, but thought it would be unwise, given the crush... The @LeatherWest guys agreed it might be best to come on '2-legs', but thought we'd pass muster in leather when I ran a quick survey on twitter... ;) ).

It felt great to stroll down the street in full gear - Proud in our leather and perversity; I don't mean it disparagingly, but I always feel a  little sorry for the guys that arrive to BLUF in 'civvies': struggling with heavy bags and then trying to maintain their dignity as they hop about struggling into their gear. I guess that it's easy to be out and proud when you're accompanied by a 6'4" God, like my Man, but I'd hate to have to keep my leather as something that can only be be worn in a darkened room, like some shameful secret...

Either way - once geared, everyone looked amazing! It was nice to see quite a range of BLUF gear too: from 'traditional' black to pale blue and white piping, Vanson-style padded jackets and gauntlets to an Alpine-Stars one-piece. There was a nice selection of facial-hair on display too - although no-one could compete with the beautiful full beard of our bald-headed Scottish brother (to whom I had to give the most honest respects - and beg a small fondle of that luxurious growth ... ;) ).

We managed to catch up with a few friends too - most notably LeatherPilgrim, who was very good at telling everyone how much He had enjoyed seeing me in full pup-mode at the Bournemouth ECMC event last year. He was also very good at affectionately stroking my neck whilst I snuggled into my Man's chest (even if it did take me a while to notice that Sir was already stroking my chin and playing with my nips, and so must have somehow managed to grow a third hand... In my defence, I can only say that I was a little distracted!). We also got to chat briefly to RubberMJK - a new member to BLUF, but someone whom I have chatted to for quite a while on Recon - and to whose rope-skills I would be honoured to one day surrender.

We also got to play in the dark-room for a little while - which had both Man and Hound grinning with pleasure...

Sir had just come off nights, and so we didn't stay too long after midnight - but even so, it was a great evening: a friendly crowd of sexy guys gathered together in a congenial atmosphere of mutual admiration and respect; what could be more fun?

I can't wait for October and BLUFBristol #4
